New Stuff!
Hello Bryan,
In 1978 I lived in So. Cal. and was involved in a Christian Truck Club ( Mini Trucks ), called ” One Way Truckers “, and we put on a truck rally for the non-christian clubs to attend, of which about 750 attended and your group …………………………………… ( the Sweet Comfort Band ) played at the destination. I am still in contact with the President and Sergeant of Arms today, and let them know that the Sweet Comfort Band has resurfaced again, of which they shared my joy. I am excited to hear that you are out there again and prepared for battle. We have several of the ” Black Sheep ” who attend our Calvary ( Calvary Community Church ) in Phoenix, of which, one of the 2 chapters president, is a usher here (Jimmy Painter ).
God’s mercies are new every morning.

Thanks Bryan for being out there. I was in a deep depression and listening to Joyride/Blue Skies and others albums and cds of yours brought me out of it. God bless you! P.S. Vitamin D3 helped me to. I was told that D3 is not only the vitamin of year but also of the decade. Between you and that I am seeing blue skies again. Thanks again for having the sprit in you and sharing it with others.

I could not find a link on your facebook to send you a personal e-mail, guess this will have to be out there for all to see. Please erase it after you read it. Thanks. Need to confirm with you that (you) have been personally speaking with my husband via facebook please. The person in which he has been chatting with claims to be you and my husband is now contacting churches to arrange concert dates for you.
I want to make sure this isn’t a fraud posing as you. Please contact me asap. I love my husband very much and don’t want to see him hurt. Thank you.

Dude do you know how long I have carried the lyrics to “Lunatic Friend” around with me – I hang it in every office I ever move to because I am always aware of my lunatic friend. Sorry to hear about all of the sh#@ you’ve had to go through – I know it must be exquisitely excruciating. Been a fan for years – actually saw you once at Victory Assembly in Lakeland Florida. As you can probably tell I have not kept up with a lot of “Christian” news as my condolences may be years late…anyway…love your music and I loved it because it was different and had meaning. Hopefully you will be on the east coast soon and I can go see you again. God Bless!

Bryan, Got to see you in Wenatchee (most people would be saying, “Where?”) and enjoyed it so much. When my wife and I showed up at the church and you were sitting on a Harley, in the parking lot. I thought, this guy must be the real deal. Your music, sense of humor and honesty were so much appreciated. Thanks so much!
In His Grip,
Randy

Bryan,
Thanks for hanging out with us in California about one month ago.
Our family came from Phoenix to visit with you.
We really appreciate your time and message.
Please thank Holly and Wayne for letting us swing by.
We will keep handing out Twin Cities Live CD’s to folks in need of the music and the message (which is everyone).
Can you send us more info about the prison ministries that you and Wayne mentioned please?
We would like to support the effort (Time / Money / Etc).
We just donated to the Radio Rehab Site, as this site and your music / message (from God) has really change our lives.
Your 50 or so Radio Rehab shows (downloaded) are wonderful – We love them.
Thanks Bryan.
Please come to AZ soon.

Hey Bryan… just cetching up with someone who has giving me inspiration in the past. Since I heard your voice and message in song, I have always considered you one of the greats in gospel music. Forgive me for gushing but, I find your insights and hidden, ironic messages very intriguing and thought provoking and your voice ability unmatched. I have seen you twice in person. The second time I actually got a chance to talk to you. I said something stupid like “who’s taller? you or Steve Camp?” I felt like I caught you off guard, which I detect doesn’t happen often. (I am aware that Mr. Camp has been quite abrasive to other Christian artists)
I’m hearing you bigtime on that social media thread you got going there. Plastronic (twitter, facebook, etc.) relationships are of a different sort. Most boomers find themselves holding their nose and jumping into the raging torrent of contemporary forms of communication. I have a young married facebook friend that I really hardly know but keep to read about her daily wants and whines so I don’t feel so bad about my own life. It’s kind of like an earthly host observing others lives without saying a word. She has stated many times her reliance on God but, her disappointment with daily life seems to run so deep. As someone who is genuinely concerned, I find myself hesitant to challenge her attitude in fear of being misunderstood. (which happens quite often even if we choose our words wisely) And the strange thing is if we would actually meet in person, we probably wouldn’t even recognize each other.
Anyway, here’s hoping that you might be seen somewhere here in west Michigan (it’s nice here in the fall) to see if you actually still exist. I would like to encourage you to continue with your “work”. From the looks (and sounds) of it, you still have many divine insights to pass on that are still much needed today.
thx,
Jerry

I am not sure, but you look an awful lot like someone that I knew in Fountain Valley CA. I have had quite a road getting to the Lord myself but it has been great. Married and four daughters just wondering when I saw your book if you were old friend.
